I'm super excited to share with you all our very first blog post, it has been in the works for over three years when I started doing the Gratitude Story Interviews!
At first the idea was to just provide the written content of our Gratitude Story Interviews (It still is) but it's now grown to be so much more! Everything that we share with you all will be supported by academic literature and evidence-based studies around Positive Psychology.
What is Positive Psychology?
It is the scientific study of mental wellbeing, optimal human functioning, and the strengths that enable individuals and communities to thrive. The field is rooted on the belief that people want to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives, to cultivate what is best within themselves, and to enhance their experiences of love, work, and play.
What categories of blog posts will we be sharing?
We will be writing blog posts that fall into two different categories:
Written content about our Gratitude Story Interviews for those of you who prefer to absorb written content over videos.
Educational articles that are based on the science of positive psychology and the lived experiences of our writers. They will include the following:
Positive Psychology Interventions (PPIs) and exercises to boost your Mental Wellbeing
Practical tips that our writers implement in their daily life to boost their Mental Wellbeing
What's next?
In the coming days, weeks, and months we will start sharing more articles from the above categories that will give you practical and evidence-based tools and tips to boost your wellbeing! We will start off with the written content of the 5 gratitude story interviews that we filmed and posted in 2020 and then continue with future interviews and the educational articles mentioned above.
